How licensing works

Per building
A building is the unit of licensing. Its graph, floor plans, equipment and history belong to it, and the price follows the building rather than a seat count — the people who open Building OS in a day vary far more than the estate does.
Per module
Licence the modules a building needs from the 32 available, and add the rest when it needs them. A mall that starts with wayfinding and signage does not pay for clean-room monitoring.
Managed or on your own infrastructure
Run it as a managed service, or deploy the whole platform inside your own perimeter. The on-premise deployment is the same software, not a reduced edition — data sovereignty is a deployment choice, not a tier.
What a building costs.
It depends on the modules, the size of the estate and where it runs, so we quote against a real building rather than publishing a table that would fit almost nobody. Tell us what you operate and we will put numbers to it.
